In my opinion, the creepiest poster is, without a doubt, the one-sheet for The Shaggy Dog. Honestly, I'm in my twenties, and that poster still had me nervous to round a corner at my local theater, thus staring into "its" eyes. Plus, the fact that the poster was for a family flick may its disturbing appearance all the more confusing.

first of all, an honorary award should be given to TYLER PERRY who manages to put out amazing teasers for his movies and then craps all over them releasing a generic, awful looking poster for the final version....He did it with both Madea movies, and he'll most likely do it with his release for 2007...
BEST POSTER: Unitet 93 Thank You for Smoking, Cars (teaser with the covered car) LIttle Miss Sunshine Hard Candy Marie Antoinette
Babel, Prada, World Trade Center (with the towers), Bobby, Borat, The Breakup, Brick version 1, The Departed (second versions), Jackass Number Two, Lady in the Water (teasers), The last King of Scotland, The Motel, Nacho Libre, Scary Movie, The Notorious Betty Page, The Queen (version 2),
Funniest PosteR: Nacho Libre, Scary Movie, Snakes on a Plane (with the crash instructions), Strangers with Candy
Best Set: Pan's Labyrinth, Shortbuts, Superman, V for Vendetta, Nacho Libre
Creepiest: of course, Saw 3
Worst: Just My Luck, Material Girls, Big Momma's House, 16 Blocks, A Good Year

Best Movie Poster The Black Dahlia (v1) (amazing imagery) Brick (v1) (I saw the poster and knew I had to see the movie no matter what. That's effective work.) The Fountain (beautiful) Hard Candy (brilliant) Imagine Me & You (no one's heard of it, but it's the perfect example of a poster that lets you know exactly what the movie's about without giving anything really away. The fact that the movie frankly wasn't very good is beside the matter)
Honorable mentions: Apocalypto, All the King's Men, Borat, Children of Men (v3), Deliver Us From Evil, Madea's Family Reunion (v1,2), Superman Returns (the whole set), Who Killed the Electric Car (v1)
Worst Movie Poster The Good Shepherd (I suppose it's better than floating heads, but all I could take away from the poster is how boring it makes the movie look) Just My Luck (Lindsay Lohan winks like an idiot with some guy in the background. Thanks for saying nothing, poster) Last Holiday (Bet you'd all forgotten about this one. Ugh) Madea's Family Reunion (v3) (what the hell is this crap?) Turistas (You know this movie has an advertising budget of ten cents. It's not scary, it says nothing, it's just a face that says "Go Home", which is probably not the best message for people considering whether to see it or not)
Dishonorable mentions: Accepted, Annapolis, Firewall, Flicka, The Wicker Man, When A Stranger Calls, Zoom
Best Blockbuster Poster (I used top 15 rather than 10) Borat Casino Royale (teaser, v2) The Devil Wears Prada (very clever) Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (if it ain't broken, don't fix it) Superman Returns
Worst Blockbuster Poster The Da Vinci Code (boring!) Ice Age 2: The Meltdown (uninspired) Mission: Impossible III (could they get any more generic than this?)
Best Teaser Crank (v1) (a hell of a lot better than the final one,) Casino Royale Lady in the Water Pan's Labyrinth (v1) The Omen (v1)
Worst Teaser Basic Instinct 2: Risk Addiction (v1) Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties The Grudge 2 (although they never really decided to make a final one) Silent Hill (v1) (Just doesn't work) Running With Scissors (yay, rip of MASH for a stupid sight gag, good work)
Funniest Poster Borat The Break-Up Scary Movie 4 (Saw spoof) Snakes on a Plane - Airline Instructions (why they didn't use this one more I have no idea) Thank You For Smoking (all are pretty clever)
Bravest Poster All the King's Men (see the horrible DVD cover for an example of how bad it could be) Bobby Dreamgirls Flags of our Fathers Poseidon (sure it bombed, but at least there were never floating heads!)
Creepiest Poster Deliver Us From Evil (no one can look at that and say it doesn't creep the hell out of you. Exactly the feeling they wanted you to have) The Descent (v2) Hostel (v3/4) The Shaggy Dog (the horror.....) Slither
Best Character Poster Set The Departed Hollywoodland Miami Vice The Prestige (pure genious) X-Men: The Last Stand (very striking)
Best Funny Tag Line Clerks II - With no power comes no responsability. Imagine Me & You - There goes the bride. Talladega Nights - The story of a man who could only count to #1. Tenacious D in "The Pick of Destiny" - The greatest motion picture of all time. (C'mon, I can't be the only one that finds that absolutely hilarious) Thank You For Smoking - Nick Naylor doesn't hide the truth. He just filters it.
Best Serious Tag Line Crank - Poision in his veins. Vengeance in his heart. Children of Men - The future's a thing of the past. Flags of our Fathers - A single shot can end the war. (fantastic double meaning) Hollywoodland - Living in Hollywood can make you famous. Dying in Hollywood can make you a legend. V For Vendetta - People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people.
And if I may make a suggestion for a new category.
Most Horrible Pun Used as a Tagline (I've limited this to one per film, and there were still plenty that I could've used, including any of the Charlotte's Web or Open Season ones, ugh) The Ant Bully - Make larvae, not war. (That's just stretching things) Clerks II - Waging the war against COUNTER-terrorism (how forced does that sound) Deck the Halls - There glows the neighborhood. Flushed Away - He's a shock to the cistern. The Shaggy Dog - Raise the Woof! (Yes, they actually paid someone to come up with "Raise the Woof!")
